What is confusing?
For me it's confusing to convert fractions into decimals by dividing numinator with denominator.
What is easy?
It is very easy to convert decimals into procentages by multiplying it by 100.
What do you want to know?
I would want to know how to convert repeating decimals into fractions.

Actually we would say, "divide the numerator by the denominator." It's easy to understand when we think of the fraction 1/2. We divide 1 by 2 and get 0.5, which is the same as 50%.
ReplyDeleteRepeating decimals cannot be perfectly worked backwards into fractions - that's why they are called "repeating" or "recurring" decimals. You can get close and then estimate the fraction in simplest terms. E.g. 0.3333333 we know is 1/3. I hope this helps :)
